Our industry leading warranty offers a 6-month guarantee on all parts purchased from ACM Auto Parts for private vehicle use and a 3-month guarantee applies to parts purchased for commercial use.

  • Warranty Terms & Conditions

    The ACM Parts™ warranty is in addition to the rights and remedies conferred on consumers by the Australian Consumer Law. The warranty does not affect those rights or remedies, except to the extent their application may lawfully be excluded. Individual parts listed are subject to stock availability.     ACM Parts offer the parts to the purchaser and the purchaser agrees to purchase the goods pursuant to the terms and conditions set out below. The agreed terms and conditions shall be read to limit our liability the full extent permitted under Australian Consumer Law.

    1. ACM Parts, to the extent parts are defective, provides: (a) a 6-month guarantee defective on parts purchased for private use vehicles; and (b) a 3-month parts guarantee for parts purchased for commercial or combined commercial and private use vehicles such as taxis, couriers and ride share vehicles.
    2. Parts returned under warranty must be complete as sold. The warranty is void if parts are altered, dismantled or have been otherwise tampered with by a person not authorized by ACM Parts.
    3. At its option, ACM Parts will repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of the defective part.
    4. A maximum of $75 (incl. GST) labour rate is payable on any warranty claims. Publications such as times guide and dealer information will be used to determine set times for labour charges. The part must be checked before fitment as ACM Parts will not be liable for labour costs for removal. All labour claims must be approved in advance by ACM Parts Warranty Manager.
    5. All engines supplied by ACM Parts are fitted with a heat tab. Warranty is void if the heat tab has been altered, removed or melted.
    6. All engine and driveline seals must be replaced, oil or fluid leaks are not covered under warranty.
    7. Modern transmissions require recoding using dealership grade software, ACM is not liable for the calibration of transmissions. It is an ACM requirement that new transmission service kits and fluid be fitted.
    8. All parts supplied by ACM Parts are sold with a unique ACM Parts identifier. Warranty is void if the unique identifier has been altered, removed or tampered with in anyway.
    9.  In the event ACM Parts denies a warranty claim, such as where the purchaser has contributed to the failure, ACM Parts reserves the right to recover out of pocket expenses incurred in reviewing the claim including freight and or dismantling and inspection costs and ACM Parts may hold onto the Purchaser pays ACM Parts such out of pocket expenses.
    10. Warranty does not apply to accessories and non-standard inclusions or any part that is attached to the engine, including but not limited to turbo charges, switches, sensors, cables, electronics, belts, hoses, water pumps, oil seals and manifolds.
    11. Warranty does not apply to transmissions, differentials and final drive components that have broken gears or have been subject to accident, misuse, neglect or use inconsistent with its intended purpose.
    12. The warranty cover does not extend to damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, natural disaster or act of God or other external causes or to damage caused by using the parts inconsistently from their intended purpose.
    13. ACM Parts holds no responsibility for the fitment of incorrect parts, the onus is on the fitter to ensure that the parts supplied are correct for fitment.
    14. Approval for repair or replacement of a rusted, failed or defective part must be provided by ACM Parts prior to any work being performed.
    15. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to choose a refund or replacement.

Delivery & Returns

  • Delivery

    With warehouses in major locations across Australia, ACM Parts has access to an extensive delivery network.

    Delivery

    1. Risk of loss or damage shall entirely be at the risk of the purchaser either after delivery of part to the purchaser or the purchaser taking the part from the ACM Parts.
    2. Purchasers have the full responsibility of providing us with the correct delivery address and mobile phone number.
    3. Retail and new Trade COD customers will be asked to provide proof of identity upon delivery of parts or collection at our sites. Delivery and collection will be refused if proof of identity is not provided.
    4. Any changes to address after purchase will not be considered for return.
    5. ACM Parts is not liable for any delay, losses and/or damage of items due to changes of delivery address after purchase, or mistakes made by purchasers. This also includes failure to provide an answerable phone number to facilitate delivery. Please be aware that we do not deliver to PO Boxes. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to provide an address appropriate for delivery. We strongly recommend purchasers change their delivery address to a workplace for large and bulky items.
    6. A re-delivery fee will be charged to purchasers for parts that are returned to ACM Parts due to incorrect delivery address or unsuccessful delivery. Parts will only be delivered during normal business hours (9am to 5pm) on weekdays. Delivery is not available on weekends, public holidays or after business hours.
  • Returns

    If for any reason you wish to return a part that has been recently purchased, we’ll be happy to assist provided the follow conditions are met;

    1.    If for any reason the customer wishes to return the part/s, ACM Parts will assist with the return provided the purchaser:
    • requests the return of the part/s within 30 days of the invoice date.
    • returns the parts in original re-saleable condition with all tags and packaging (ready to be put back on the shelf).
    • returns the parts un-opened, un-used, worn or damaged, and in re-saleable condition when we receive back.
    • does not stick or write anything on the item itself.
    • purchaser may be required to wrap the item and attach postage stickers and any labels to the outer packaging supplied.
    • purchaser must attach the ACM RMA (Return Material Authorisation) document to the part/s.
    • securely packs the part to ensure it is received back by ACM Parts in original and re-saleable.
    • engines, transmission, diffs, bull bars, subframes, etc., are secured on the pallet they were delivered or picked up on.
    1.   If the part is not returned as noted above, ACM Parts may pay a revised refund amount to reflect the state of the part. This also includes parts incorrectly supplied.
    2.   If pick up has been arranged, the part must be ready for collection. If the part is not ready at the time of pick up, ACM Parts may cancel the return and may charge fees.
    3.   Damaged, defective or incorrect parts must be notified within 5 business days of receipt of the part/s.
    4.   The purchaser agrees, for all returns that are due to customer fault, such as ordering errors, part no longer required or change of mind, a restocking of 15% may be applied in addition to any freight charges.
    5.   ACM Parts reserves the right to dispose of rejected returns 90 days after the rejection date if a purchaser does not advise if the item is to be returned.

    Since opening in 2014 ACM Parts have maintained a high standard in recycled automotive parts through our Reclaimed range. ACM Parts is Australia’s largest provider of alternative and specialty parts to the automotive repair industry, keeping vehicles on Australian roads. We support better ways to repair vehicles by providing a choice of options to extend the life of a vehicle through our extensive range of parts.

    Choosing recycled automotive parts is a cost-effective option for automotive repairs, with recycled parts often selling for less than 50% of their new counterparts. As a bonus choosing recycled parts are also a more sustainable option, allowing for that additional piece of mind that you are reusing an already existing part rather than having something new created. Recycled parts also offer convenience, generally coming with most of the necessary pieces and attachments included, creating an ease of installation.

    ACM Parts Reclaimed range features both Collision and Mechanical parts, each with there own quality control processes to ensure all Reclaimed parts sold are of the highest quality available.

    ACM Parts Reclaimed Collision Quality Control

    ACM’s Collision parts covers a wide range of models and includes bonnets, bootlids, doors, guards, lights plus much more. Each part is thoroughly check over by one of our quality control experts, then it is assigned a grading. Most parts in our Collision range will receive an ‘A’ grading, meaning that it has an expected repair time of less than 30 minutes. Any parts given a grading other than A will be discussed at the time of quoting with images and a details description of any damage to be noted on the quote. This QC process is what sets ACM Parts Collision range apart from its competition.

    The ACM Parts condition grading classifies the panel based on its condition;

    • A – has an expected repair time of less than 30 minutes.
    • B – Expected repair time of more than 30 minutes. Photographs provided and any damage detailed at the time of quote.

    The grading classification and images of each part are then saved in ACM’s internal system which is used for reference by our internal sales team. ACM Parts have a large team of parts experts available via phone, email and Parts Check to assist with your parts enquires.

    ACM Parts Reclaimed Mechanical Quality Control

    ACM’s mechanical parts range cover all popular models and includes engine, gearboxes, transmissions, differentials, suspension components plus much more. Engine are start tested and all gearboxes are run through their shifting patterns prior to dismantling. All other mechanical parts are inspected by our qualified dismantling team, once dismantled each mechanical part is then cleaned and strapped to a pallet prior to arriving at one of our distribution centers across Australia.

    All details of the vehicle that the mechanical part was sourced from are added into our internal system for reference by the sales team when an enquiry is received. Our team will provide these details at the time of quoting in order to select the most appropriate part for your repair.
